An RICS Level 2 Home Survey, previously called a ‘Home Buyer Report’, is a detailed visual inspection of the property.
This survey provides an account of the property’s condition and highlights significant problems with straightforward ‘traffic light’ ratings. It focuses on urgent or significant defects that may affect the value of the property.
This report is suitable for conventional properties that are in reasonable condition, built from common building materials and that do not have multiple alterations or extensions.
